Real Estate will not Fall in Telangana: KCR

Real Estate will not Fall in Telangana: KCR

The Telangana Rashtra Samiti chief, Mr K. Chandrasekhar Rao, said that there would be no fall in real estate prices after the formation of Telangana as suggested by some real estate brokers. On the contrary, prices will go up as Hyderabad and its surroundings will become an international destination, he said.

He appealed to students to get ready for a mega battle after December 31, when the Srikrishna Committee submits its report, and not to resort to suicides. He reiterated that a dalit will be the Chief Minister and a Muslim Deputy Chief Minister in the newly formed Telangana state.

Addressing a public meeting of students at Vikarabad, 70 km from here, Mr Rao asserted that the formation of Telangana was the only solution to remove all the ills facing the region, including providing jobs and water for irrigation. “I am confident, cent percent, that Telangana will be a reality,” he said.
He added that leaders and people from the Telangana region should be united like Seema-Andhra to achieve the goal. For a change, the TRS chief focused more on developmental and social aspects stating that he would scrap hostels segregated on caste and community lines and replace them with state residential hostels.

He also promised to provide free education in the English medium from kindergarten to post-graduate level. Focusing on real estate issues which are a booming industry in Ranga Reddy district, he asked people not to believe the rumours spread by brokers. “Hyderabad will be an international city and there will be highly developed satellite towns in 100-150 km radius including Vikarabad, Mahbubnagar, Medchal and others,” he said.

He added, “If your land fetches `2-`3 crore, it will go up further by `10-`15 crore if Telangana is carved out. Vikarabad will be made a district along with six other districts,” he said.
